  1. "Chimichurri: The Ultimate Condiment for Meat Lovers"

A delicious sauce of Argentinian and Uruguayan origins, chimichurri is typically paired with grilled meat. Fresh herbs, garlic, vinegar, and olive oil are blended together in a vivid and flavorful way.

Traditional chimichurri sauce recipe :

Ingredients:

  • fresh parsley 1 cup chopped
  • garlic cloves 3-4, chopped, minced - 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil,
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar (white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar are also suitable substitutes).
  • dried oregano 1 teaspoon or fresh oregano leaves 1 tablespoon
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (modify the amount of heat to your taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt, tasted, etc.
  • A quarter teaspoon of black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 lemon juice (optional, for more tang)

Instructions:

  • Wash and dry the cilantro and parsley. Finely slice the leaves and remove the thick stems.
  • Combine the minced garlic, cilantro, parsley, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.
  • Fill the basin with the red wine vinegar and olive oil. All the ingredients must be mixed together in mixture.
  • Add the freshly chopped oregano leaves to the bowl. (Dried oregano), you don't need to cut it first; just add it.
  • Taste-test the sauce before adding salt and black pepper. Mix well after adding the juice of half a lemon for a tangier chimichurri.
  • Wait at least ten to fifteen minutes before serving. This enhances the taste by allowing the ingredients to combine.
  • Sauce is ready, serve it as a side dish, a topping for grilled veggies, or a marinade for meats.
Enjoy grilled meats or any other food that may use a flavor boost with the spicy and aromatic goodness of chimichurri sauce!
